Step into our distinguished Victorian country house hotel and on Royal Deeside.
With its elevated position, Tor-Na-Coille’s aristocratic, traditional granite façade has watched over the Aberdeenshire town of Banchory since 1873.
Originally designed to entice the royal couple Victoria and Albert to stop en route via horse and carriage to Balmoral Castle. The hotel was the scene for cinematic sleepovers in the 1960s when Charlie Chaplin and his family were frequent visitors.
Today, the Tor-Na-Coille accommodates tourists and visitors from near and far with its elegant interiors and 25 luxury bedrooms.
The Tor-Na-Coille sits in six acres of protected Woodland and is a ten minute stroll from the centre of Banchory.
Residents are welcome to use the exceptional fitness facilities at our sister company, The Unit Gym & Fitness which sits in the grounds of the hotel.
