We’re right in the middle of Scotland’s Castle Trail so there are plenty of castles, stately homes and statuesque ruins to explore.

This fairy-tale castle fantasy is on our doorstep. More turrets, stepped gables and canon spouts and chimneys than your average baronial pile, it has a beautiful interior and outstanding grounds and gardens.
