We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team ensuring high standards are maintained throughout.

As Junior Sous Chef you will:

• Ideally already have good experience in a high-quality kitchen
• Be flexible to work on all sections as required and have the ability to train junior chefs on each section
• Work closely with the head chef and sous chef and deputise for senior chefs when required

F & B Assistant

F&B Assistant: – live-in available – 2 Rosette – 4* Country House Hotel

Key responsibilities

• To ensure that the service is always performed in a professional manner and to the standards of Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction.

• Be fully conversant with the key operational demands and systems of the department.

• To be fully knowledgeable about all menus, and capable of offering explanations when requested.

• Responsible for preparing and maintaining the Restaurant, Bar, Lounge, Function Room and The Bothy to the highest standards, ensuring all tables are setup correctly, carrying out daily schedules, making sure checklists are completed in a timely manner.

• To be enthusiastic, quick thinking, welcoming and always have a “happy to help” attitude towards guests and colleagues.

• To assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the restaurant, bar area, lounge and The Bothy as well as any common areas.

• To communicate clearly, effectively and with courtesy with guests and colleagues.

• To organise and assist in preparation needed prior to service.

• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time

As a Housekeeper, you will ensure bedrooms, rooms and public areas are clean and presentable. You will play a key part in providing an exceptional experience to our guests.

The Role:

• Cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Cleaning public areas in hotel.
• Ensuring linen is laundered and amenities are replenished.
• Comply fully with all regulations relating to Health and Safety.
• Ensure communication between supervisor and wider team.

The Person:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a similar role would be advantageous
